Is BTL Exilis Painful?

No, the Exilis treatment is not painful and most find the sessions quite comfortable, comparing the feeling to a hot stone massage. You can expect treated areas to get quite warm initially during treatment.

Your technician will run the hand-piece over your skin in a circular motion for a set amount of time. The device will increase the heat production to a certain, predetermined point and then begin to cool.

What Are the Side Effects of Skin Tightening?

With BTL Exilis, there is 0 downtime, or recovery. The area may have some heat sensitivity and erythema for a few hours post treatment. Because the technology is non-invasive, you can apply makeup if needed and return to normal activity immediately following your session.

What Should I Expect Afterwrds?

For the first day after your treatment, the only things that you should put on your face are specific creams that we have recommended to avoid any negative reactions. Can Ice Be Used If I Have Swelling?

We do not recommend this. Because the beneficial effects of the Infini treatment are due to your body’s natural inflammatory and healing processes, using ice to reduce swelling can also reduce the effectiveness of the treatment.

Do I Need To Do Anything To Papare For Treatment?

We recommend that you avoid any medications that thin your blood for about two weeks prior to your treatment. If you need to take blood thinners for a medical issue, you can continue to take them, but may experience more bruising.

How Long Does an Infini Treatment Last? Are The Results Permanent?

Each patient’s skin reacts differently, but once new collagen is created, it will last for seven years. Many patients experience the best results when they receive three treatments spaced about a month apart, and maintenance treatments are typically recommended every 12 to 18 months if you are using the treatment for its general skin rejuvenation and anti-aging benefits. Micro-needling rollers are the previous generation of needling devices. One of the many drawbacks is that dermal rollers have a fixed needle or penetration depth (i.e. 0.5mm) which is not very conducive when treating an area like the face which requires different depths due to the thickness of skin tissue, which varies in depth tremendously depending on the area being treated. Therefore, having a fixed needle depth or penetration level is a huge drawback when trying to customize a treatment for consistency. How will I look after my Collagen PIN treatment?

Collagen P.I.N. is considered a no downtime treatment. Immediately after your treatment your skin will look slightly pink to moderately red. Depending on your skin’s sensitivity your redness can last for another 24 hours. Can I use makeup after my Collagen PIN treatment?

Directly after your treatment we recommend using only mineral based foundation, as it cannot build bacteria. You may go back to your regular foundation 4 days post treatment.
