About Us

Amy Fox has been working in the skin care industry for over 23 years,
during which time she has gained knowledge and experience in all
aspects of the skin.

Amy received her Cosmetology License in 1996 and her Managers License in 1998. She is licensed to treat hair, skin and nails. For the first 11 years of her of career she worked in a salon setting. Amy decided in 2005 that she wanted to work in medical skincare industry. She returned to school and received her certification as a Laser Technician fromThe National Laser Institute in Scottsdale, AZ.

After receiving her certification in lasers she was given the opportunity to
work at Affiliated Dermatologists under the direction of some of the top dermatologists in southeastern Wisconsin. Amy has been at Affiliated Dermatologists for the last 12 years providing cosmetic services in their Skin and Laser Center.

She has distinguished strengths in enhancing patients’ personal appearances using the latest technology and continued higher education. Amy has a special talent providing effective & affordable non-surgical alternatives to cosmetic surgery. When it comes to evaluating a client’s skin, she identifies and suggests treatments that are most beneficial to the client’s needs and goals. She works comfortably in all areas of the industry offering a wide verity of treatments including Micro-needling, Laser Hair Removal, Coolsculpting, Photo Rejuvenation, Microdermabrasion, Chemical Peels, Dermaplaning, Facials and Waxing.

As a skin care specialist, Amy feels that educating the clients on their skin is one of the most important aspects of her career. How can you know what to do, if you don’t understand what’s happening? She understands how pigmentation, adult acne and premature aging not only put your skin in jeopardy, but also your self esteem and confidence. Amy believes that by providing her clients with the knowledge and tools to correct the situation, she can help each individual client reach their skin care goals.

Dave (and yes, he prefers to just be called Dave—no “doctor” necessary) initially became interested in the aesthetic side of medicine while doing a plastic surgery rotation in medical school. He took a different medical career path for a period of time, but his aesthetic interest was reawakened when he sought treatments for the angry 11s between his eyes in 2007. That’s right, his 11s caused him to do a career 180! While those 11s are long gone, he now rates his aesthetic career a solid 10!

When Dave started his aesthetic medicine training in 2007, training opportunities were not readily available as they are today, so he traveled around the world to learn the best injectable techniques in aesthetic medicine.

Throughout his many training experiences over the years, Dr. Dave became an expert in aesthetics. Now considered one of the leading facial aesthetic injectors in the industry. He owned many successful clinics in the Minnesota area before retiring to spend his time training other medical professionals throughout the across the country for aesthetic companies such as Allergan (BOTOX, Juvederm, Voluma, Volbella ), Galderma (Sculptra Aesthetic), and Dermasculpt (microcannulas).

TLC Laser & Skincare is proud to have Dr. Dave as our medical director, together we share the importance of continuing education and make safety our top priority.

Mykala joins TLC Laser & Skincare as a Registered Nurse and Licensed Esthetician. With over a decade of healthcare experience she decided to slowly transition out of the bedside nursing into the world of aesthetics. She has a variety of experience ranging from med/surg, oncology, neuro and ortho. Mykala has always had a passion for helping others feel and perform at their very best, which is what brought her to aesthetic nursing. She is extremely passionate about her work, and her commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.  It is demonstrated not only through the strong relationships she has built with patients, but also in the quality of results she has helped them attain. Mykala is able to offer a unique combination of experience, knowledge and artistry. She is passionate about making sure you are educated and comfortable with the process while achieving your goals.

In Mykala’s free time you can usually catch her at Burn Boot Camp or spending time with the people who mean the most to her. She is an avid lover of Starbucks, a huge Kane Brown fan & kick-boxed for 5+ years.

Steph’s medical aesthetics career started over 24 years ago working for a large Dermatology practice, where she learned many aspects of skin health, procedures and the importance of medical grade skin care. 

Steph loves taking the time to help patients understand what it will take to achieve their skin care needs and find an appropriate treatment plan. She has had many lasting relationships with clients over many years. Seeing clients come back so excited about how their skin looks is one of the most rewarding parts of her career. Her approach is one that encompasses knowledge with a relaxing, soothing touch.
